Your responsibilities at waterdrop®:
Strategy & Market Expansion
As the Global Director B2B & Business Development, you define and execute the global B2B business development strategy in line with company objectives and regional market requirements.
You identify and prioritize new markets, verticals, and revenue streams (e.g. grocery, drugstores, sports retail, pharmacies, discount, cash & carry).
You develop and implement vertical-specific go-to-market, distribution, and pricing strategies.
You own the P&L for globally managed markets and provide strategic steering for regional markets, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and cost discipline in close collaboration with regional teams.
You continuously evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights to refine strategy and secure long-term growth.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
You build and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that strengthen market presence and revenue potential.
You lead complex negotiations and close long-term, value-driven agreements with key partners.
You drive entry into new markets and industries through scalable business development approaches and maintain a strong global B2B opportunity pipeline.
B2B Sales Leadership
You define and lead the global B2B sales strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and expansion targets.
You set KPIs, sales targets, and forecasting standards across regions and verticals.
You oversee key global accounts as senior escalation point and strategic partner.
You drive performance optimization, including pricing, sell-in, POS performance, and sales processes.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
You lead, coach, and develop the global B2B and business development team, fostering accountability and high performance.
You build scalable team structures, identify capability gaps, and support succession planning, promoting ownership and continuous development.
Cross-Functional & Operational Excellence
You ensure close alignment with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Operations to deliver strong B2B outcomes.
You oversee planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and impact.
You drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across B2B processes.
Performance Management & Reporting
You own global and regional sales forecasts, targets, and performance tracking.
You monitor key commercial metrics, including net revenue, profitability, pricing development, POS per account, and OKRs.
You ensure sustainable and profitable growth across markets and verticals.

Strategic & Commercial Expertise
You have extensive experience in defining and executing global B2B and business development strategies across multiple markets and regions.
You have proven experience owning P&L responsibility and driving revenue growth, profitability, and cost discipline.
You have strong commercial acumen and a track record in complex negotiations and strategic partnerships.
Sales & Performance Leadership
You have demonstrated experience leading global B2B or sales organizations with clear KPI and forecasting ownership.
You are highly data-driven, translating market dynamics and customer insights into measurable business impact.
Leadership & Organizational Impact
You have experience building and developing high-performing teams, including coaching and succession planning.
You are a collaborative leader, ensuring strong cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Operations.
You are committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement, with a focus on sustainable and profitable growth.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 110.000 gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications, there is the willingness for overpayment.
