Your role at waterdrop®:
As an Head of Group Accounting (m/f/d), you will be based at our vibrant headquarters in Vienna, leading all Group Accounting operations across HQ and international entities:
- Full responsibility for Group Accounting Operations (HQ & international sales entities)
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Strategically develop the accounting and operating model, including processes, systems, and team structure
- Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closing processes and coordinate with external service providers and auditors
- Work closely with Controlling and Treasury to support financial planning and management
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policie
- Lead, coach, and develop the Group Accounting team
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems, including the implementation of new technologies
Your strengths and qualifications:
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in Accounting, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership or Head of Accounting role, preferably in an international Group structure
- Proven success in managing Group Accounting operations, including multi-entity consolidations and financial reporting across different jurisdictions
- Strong background in IFRS, GAAP, and tax regulations, with experience in external audits and compliance management
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire teams while establishing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Track record of optimizing operating models, implementing robust processes, and leveraging technology to increase efficiency
- Skilled in orchestrating complex closing processes (month-end, quarter-end, year-end) and managing relationships with 3rd party service providers
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a strong focus on business partnering and strategic impact
- Proficiency in modern ERP/accounting systems (preferably NetSuite) and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to effectively liaise with senior management, auditors, and cross-functional teams
- Experience working in fast-paced, international environments, ideally within a growth-oriented or consumer goods company

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 90.000 gross per year on a full-time basis. Because we value exceptional talent, we are willing to pay above the stated amount and the salary will be adjusted accordingly to your qualifications.
