Your responsibilities at waterdrop®: 

As a Senior Accountant, you assume full responsibility for the accounting of day-to-day business as well as monthly and annual financial statements for several local and international group entities. You are also responsible for the further development of our Accountants.

Your tasks in detail:

• Be responsible for day-to-day accounting as well as monthly and annual financial statements for selected local and international group entities

• Act as an internal point of contact for various accounting topics within selected group companies and as a contact person for external auditors

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations

• Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

• Support the preparation of monthly reportings

• Assist with Austrian and international tax and VAT matters

• Develop and improve our accounting team

• Drive process improvements, automation, and digitization within the finance team

What makes you a great fit:

• You have completed a degree in Business Administration (preferred) or completed Matura (minimum requirement) plus additional Accounting Education

• You have at least four years of operational experience in accounting, ideally in an international corporate environment or a tax consultancy

• You have expertise in UGB and/or HGB

• You have solid knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, BMD, SAP, LucaNet or similar)

• Strong analytical thinking skills and a structured approach to work

• You are a true team player with a hands-on mentality and enjoy developing your skills in a dynamic environment

• You are fluent in German and you have very good English skills

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 60.000 gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications, there is the willingness for overpayment.
